Exciting End to an Amazing Year!
Funded Jul 21, 2023Thank you and thank you again! Your support gives every Kindergarten student at my school a way to show their creativity and showcase it to the entire school and their community. They will also have fun playing with the other items and enjoy a refreshing snack prior to going home. These supplies will be a great way for them to get to know their classmates in and out of the classroom. We are grateful for your donation to our classroom.”

Hands-on manipulation helps students comprehend lessons without learning anxiety.
Funded Aug 16, 2022My kindergarten students and I were exceptionally thankful. Your donations were helpful to my students who were struggling with their number sense. With the hand counters, they can touch and see for themselves what each number should incorporate. They could count and then practice writing the number they were holding. The colors were eye-catching; before, they were having fun while learning something that seemed difficult during instruction. There is nothing more satisfying than to see a student holding up their hand and saying, "look, Ms. Milow, I have 7" or whatever number they were holding. This allowed me to build on the knowledge they were excited about by saying, "now let's try to write it even further by asking what number comes before or after."
I served in the military for 24 years, and I thought I loved my job taking care of Sailors, but it didn't give me the warm and fuzzy feeling I get seeing my student grow in areas they were reluctant to try. This is what Donors Choose does for these students; it helps one student at a time.
Words cannot capture how grateful we are and why we show our deepest gratitude. Your contribution to us is greatly appreciated!”

This classroom project was brought to life by An Anonymous Funder and 6 other donors.Essential Supplies
Funded Aug 1, 2022My kindergartens were very thankful. Your donations helped put a smile on our students' faces, enabling them to walk in and immediately feel welcomed with their names on their desks. They had pencils, body wipes, hand soap, and hand sanitizer. They all had the necessary supplies for a bright start on their journey. The hand sanitizer wipes were very helpful on our field trip to the farm; they could freely explore and touch the animals without worrying about being able to wash their hands. We've been using the hand soaps daily, and I think they like playing with the foam by rubbing it all over their hands, trying to cover their entire hands, which makes me happy because they are washing their hands thoroughly. The first couple weeks are usually rough with forgetting to bring snacks, but each student had a snack because of your donation.
Words can't capture our deepest gratitude. You are truly appreciated!
With Warm Regards,
Ms. Milow”
