  • Korea in the Classroom

    My students have greatly benefited from the items I was able to purchase thanks to your generous donations. The two items I purchased using the funds were a classroom television, and a Meta Quest 2 VR headset. I was able to use the television daily to project notes, show cultural videos, and present lessons to my class. Prior to having the TV, I would need to turn off half of our classroom's lights so the projector would shine bright enough. When doing so, it would make some students more sleepy, causing them difficulty to stay awake during the lessons. Those students have voiced their appreciation for the high definition TV that we are now using. As for the VR headset, some students have really enjoyed it. They have watched all sorts of videos about Korea, and even other random VR videos. For many of my students, this was their first interaction with VR, and they loved it.”
