Third Grade Here We Come!
Funded Aug 1, 2023First I want to thank you all again for your donations. They have meant the world to my students. They have improved their learning environment in which they want to come to school to learn. They are excited to start the day and this is all thanks to you.
Students have felt welcomed coming into the room with inviting lighting and easily accessible book bags that are out of the way but there for students to grab when needed. The organizational materials have helped students to be held accountable for their learning. Again, thank you all so much for helping making this year a great one!”

Technology has become such an important aspect in students' learning. There are many learning resources that are helping to close the learning gaps caused by the pandemic. They allow students to work on assignments that meet their needs which is very beneficial.
Students have been excited about being able to have a place to put their books, and manipulatives for their learning. The neon book bags do just this. They love the use of the materials such as the expo markers, scissors and glue for their workstations.

Funded Jul 26, 2022I first want to start by saying thank you again for contributing to my project, it truly has made an impact on my students' learning. Having the STEM cards has allowed my students to do a STEM project once a week since the third week of school. They really enjoy having to problem solve and using their creativity. Another great resource is the carpet! Having a meeting space to teach whole group where they can be comfortable is very helpful. The magnetic base ten blocks has been helpful in teaching place value. Students were able to connect the numbers to the blocks which allowed them to learn the content. All the resources have been a great addition to this school year!
My students were thrilled to see all of the resources they had. Being a title one school, the students don't always have all the materials needed to enhance their learning so they were beyond ready to start learning. Certain resources such as the round log pillows were popular for partner use. Students love to use these when we have partner work.
Currently my students are working on adding and subtracting three digit numbers so we are still using the magnetic base tens blocks as well as the place value flip chart. Thankfully I do have the manipulatives needed for them to utilize for this content. In regards to projects, I am thankful that my students have what they need to exceed in their learning.”
