Reader's Workshop Books
Funded Dec 31, 2024Thank you so much for your gracious donations to my Readers Workshop project. Second grade is the last year students are learning to read and begin the transition into reading to learn. These chapter books will help my ready learners to continue their reading skills and develop a love for fictional characters. We will use these chapter books to during readers workshop time to work on comprehension questions that deepen their thinking beyond and about the book. I cannot wait to share these with my kids!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Allison and Austin McChord.Kidney Table
Funded Oct 24, 2023Thank you so much for your gracious donation to this project. This kidney shaped table is going to make such a difference with my students learning time. This table allows me as a teacher to better reach them when they are working with me in our small groups. This shaped table is the ideal shape that all teachers want to have in their classroom.
The table will provide our classroom with another area for small groups to work, and provide students with an alternative space to sit at other than their desk. This space has been so great in our classroom. students can work in small groups or with peers on tasks in the classroom as well as participating in teacher focused groups.
I am so thankful for the gracious donations you have made and for helping to continue to build up my classroom community.”

Funded Aug 30, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donations to my classroom. The materials that you made donations to have made such a difference in our classroom. out of everything that we have received, my personal favorite was our classroom rug from Lakeshore. I have not been able to purchase a rug large enough for all of my students to fit on, and now that I have one, it is so nice to hold whole class discussions and activities together on it. We are truly growing into a family and the classroom rug gives us a meeting space to come together.
My students love using the math games and manipulatives to help enhance their learning. We use many of the manipulatives during our lessons, and the games are great during our Fun Friday times and encourage us to make learning fun. My students also love using the MagnaTiles during Fun Friday and STEM times. These materials foster their creativity and imagination in the classroom.
The materials in which you donated to fund have truly made such a positive impact on my classroom. They have helped us in so many ways, and I cannot imagine our classroom without them. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, I cannot wait to continue using these materials in the future with many students to come.”

Ms. Doyle
