  • Storm Chaser: Let Your Reading Take You to the Sky!

    Thank you so much for funding my project! Everything was such a hit. The students were engaged and loved reading on the iPad and loved reading the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books.

    For the iPad and the books, I had to make sign out sheets to make sure every student had a chance to use them both. This taught the children to take turns.

    Having these things that the children like to do, was a great incentive for them to be on their best behavior so they could have a chance to use them. This especially worked for the use of the iPad. Again, thank you all so much for the funding and support for my classroom!”

  • Comfy Reading Area

    Thank you so much for your funding for my comfy reading area! My students love sitting in the library area on the soft area rug and the comfy chairs. They love it so much, I have to assign who can sit there! I love to see the students sitting and enjoying their books.

    The students utilize the comfy reading area during our small groups and rotations. For 20 min during our centers, they sit and read their books!

    Although, one of my items was no longer available, I was able to use what I already had to make the reading lounge comfy and fun! I have students that do not like to read books wanting to sit in the reading lounge and read!! Thank you again for your support!”
