Funded Aug 2, 2023Thank you so much for being a part of this great group of people coming together to support and encourage the incredible growth taking place in my classroom. Every day we are pushing ourselves to learn more and become stronger in math and these materials being brought into our classroom are so essential in helping me try to reach all of my students. These math tools will especially help my students who are struggling to see the numbers they are working with as visual representations. Seeing it in a different way can bring about that 'Aha!' moment. Suddenly, it all just clicks and a student finally understands what was unclear so many times before. But even more magical than that is that you are showing my students that so many people care about their education and want them to succeed and that alone makes them want to try harder and learn more. Thank you for making all of this possible!”

Mrs. Corrado

Funded Sep 29, 2022Thank you, thank you, thank you for your generous donations. Your donations helped to fund our project for school supplies. The supplies that we received have been unbelievably helpful and impactful to our students' learning.
Students have used the whiteboards and dry erase markers for many different activities. These are such easy tools for our students to use. We also love using them because they are a quick way for students to show us what they know. When using these for Math, we ask students anquestikm and they can quickly answer on their boards. We can easily see their answers and tell who is understanding what we're teaching and who could benefit from extra support.”

Funded Aug 24, 2022Thank you, thank you, thank you for your generous donations. The funds helped our students get learning centers that are based on the Science of Reading. This school year we have seen a shift to using the Science of Reading to help children learn to read. It is beneficial for all of our learners, but it is most helpful for our struggling and lower level readers.
These learning centers have provided us the opportunity to work with our students in smaller group settings, where we work on specific skills and strategies that our students need the most support.”

Flexible Seating!
Funded Jul 18, 2022Our students are using the flexible seating options on a daily basis. They have learned how to use them using a rotating schedule that changes weekly. The wobble stools are given ti students to use for a week at their desks. Students are able to choose from comfy pillows and floor chairs to be used during independent work time. At first, we were only using the flexible seating options during Independent reading time, but we decided to extend them to be used during Independent writing time as well.
Our students LOVE having more seating options in our classroom.”
