My students are enrolled in a moderate-to-high poverty level school, and I want to help my students make the gains I know they are capable of, but may not have the opportunity at home to achieve. My current classroom is quite diverse. I have ESOL students, special education students, and gifted students all in the same classroom. I teach my students all subjects for the entire day. My students are extremely driven by hands-on learning opportunities and using technology! They are very motivated by technology and they get excited about new things. A Nook eReader would be perfect for students to take to their personal seat and independently read, while incorporating technology.
