    Your donation positively impacted students with learning differences! Scholastic's Action magazine supported my efforts in growing their skills and strategies with decoding, deep thinking and reading comprehension.

    The Scholastic magazine was spot on for the fabulous student population that I work with. I honestly believe that a well designed classroom magazine is an essential tool to have in your educational tool box. I am incredibly proud of my students and have the privilege to loop with them, bond and watch them grow over the course of two years. That said, keeping it fresh and exciting is a must and your generosity certainly helped with making that happen.”

  • Essential Classroom Library

    Essential libraries are a pivotal component of any ELA classroom! That said, when I started my new job last year I realized that I didn't have one in my ELA classroom. In response, I found myself on Donors Choose trying to correct that situation.

    Thanks to the generosity of people who donated we were able to create an inspiring and engaging classroom that fosters pride, community and BOOKS!

    My fabulous students with learning difference read 6 novels last year and earned the right to participate in the rewards and activities offered to active readers! The level of growth in skill and confidence was exciting!”
