  • Class Set of The Wild Robot to Inspire Young Readers

    Funded Apr 9, 2025

Thank you so much for your generous donation to my DonorsChoose project! Because of your support, my students now have the opportunity to experience The Wild Robot—one of my favorite books—and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with them.

This story sparks so many important conversations about empathy, nature, survival, and what it means to belong. I can already picture my students lighting up with curiosity and imagination as we dive into Roz's journey together. Your kindness is helping to foster a love of reading and learning that will stay with them for years to come.

Thank you again for believing in our classroom and for making a difference. You’ve truly given us a gift that goes far beyond the pages of a book.”

  • Flexbile Seating

    Funded Dec 31, 2024

I want to express my deepest gratitude for your generous donation of flexible seating for my fifth-grade classroom. Thanks to your support, my students now have a variety of seating options that help them feel more comfortable, focused, and engaged in their learning.

The new seating arrangements have made such a difference in our classroom. Students are able to choose spaces where they feel most productive, whether it's a wobble chair, a cozy beanbag, or a traditional chair. This flexibility has allowed them to take ownership of their learning environment, and I've seen an increase in both participation and enthusiasm for class activities.

Not only does flexible seating provide physical comfort, but it also encourages collaboration, creativity, and independence—skills that are essential for success both in and out of the classroom. My students are now more excited and motivated to learn every day!

Thank you for helping create a positive, adaptable learning space for my students. Your generosity is truly making a lasting impact on their educational experience, and we are so appreciative of your support.”

    Funded Aug 11, 2023

I can't thank you enough for your generosity. My students look forward to reading our weekly Scholastic News magazine. With such high interest magazines, students have loved learning more about the Titanic, Loch Ness Monster and other interesting articles. Our classroom is full of rich conversations where students discuss what they learned while incorporating their thoughts into our discussion. Students love to add their perspective to the weekly debate.

Along with the Scholastic News, the Science Spin articles are perfect for our science discussions. The animal magazine articles are exciting for the fourth graders and they can't get enough of them. Thank you so much for giving my students something to look forward to each week.”
