Let the Summer Begin!
Funded May 17, 2024Thank you so much for our class donation! I told my students there were some people who really wanted them to have an awesome summer and they were so thankful!
They decorated their bags with their names and all the pictures they wanted to add. My class was full of artists! Anytime we had a free moment (indoor recess for example) they were ready to draw and create! Their bags they decorate were proof of this! They were so proud to decorate their own personal summer bag! I've included pictures of their hard work!
Thank you again for providing the resources to make this happen for them!”

Funded Aug 31, 2023Thank you so much for our writing supplies! My students love the paper and brand new pencils we are using! The notebooks are awesome as well because as they said, they feel like "real book writers"! I love the notebooks because it's easy to go back and see how far they have come with their writing ideas!
I also love the chart paper! I'm able to post it on the board as we draw our anchor charts together and then transfer it to our bulletin board so they can refer back to it! The one we made showing how writing needs a capital letter to start, finger space and punctuation has a prominent spot in our classroom!
Thank you so much for your donation! Maybe one day these students will become authors thanks to your generous donation! Once again, thank you!”

Ms. Miller

Funded Dec 19, 2022My students are Kindergarteners and learning to read. Each week they are required to use Amira to read. Amira is a program that talks to the students and listens to them read. She also can assess their reading level as well. She helsp them to practice daily. Before we had a few headphones, but they were easily torn up or students didn't have any. It is VERY hard to do Amira without headphones as you hear the general chatter throughout a classroom. My students can now hear what they need to hear from Amira and read quietly without distractions.
The most exciting thing aboutthe headphones are that they can't hear anything else in the classroom. They enjoy not having to ask me for another set of headphones and hope they work. These work AND they are crisp and clear. They love using them! They love using them for Moby Max as well. Now they are able to do their math assignments and they don't have to constantly ask where to sit where it's silent, it's already quiet with the headphones.
I have several students who are on my intervention list and using these headphones have helped them so much! They are on the quieter side, so they would often avoid telling me they can't hear rather than telling me. They are so quiet and shy! Now they are able to work well and quietly and they love it! It's brhought them out of their shells with learning!”
