  • Let's Make Apple Pi π!

    I can't thank you enough for supporting my project "Let's Make Apple Pi." The new MacBook has become a very helpful tool in our classroom. Our students have used it for note-taking in small groups and for completing assignments on google classroom. It has also made it easier for students to complete their vocational level one surveys, which are included in the development of their individualized education plans.

    My students love using the MacBook, as it is larger and faster than a Chromebook and it includes more applications. My co-teacher and I are trying to incorporate more literacy in math instruction, and the MacBook has really assisted in our creation of projects related to reading and writing in math. It has allowed us to make instructional tasks more accessible for students who struggle with literacy, specifically with its text to speech and speech to text applications.

    I am so grateful for your support. Your generosity made such an enormous impact on the lives of my students. We look forward to a productive academic year with the addition of our new MacBook.”
