Funded Nov 29, 2022I want to thank all of the generous donors who made this project possible. I want to give a special thanks to those who have helped support my class through multiple projects this year. I also want to give a very special shout out to the Pine Valley Education Foundation who funded over 22,000 dollars in projects across the school this year!
This project gave my class the necessary supplies for an amazing second semester. We were able to start and finish the semester strong! The kids were able to learn the basics of engineering through hands on projects. I strongly believe that hands on learning is one of the best ways for kids to learn to be real world problem solvers. These opportunities for growth could not happen without your support.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Costamagna

Funded Nov 13, 2022I want to thank all of the donors who helped to support this project. I especially want to thank those that have continued to support my class through multiple projects. I also want to recognize the Pine valley Education Foundation who has funded over 22,000 dollars in projects at the school this year!
Funding for this project went to replacing parts necessary for the continued maintenance of our class 3d printer. Through this funding we were able to secure a new extruder, the main element for the printer.
Proper maintenance and support for our resources helps save money in the long run, and teaches a culture of responsibility and reusability.”

Mr. Costamagna
Project CREATE
Funded Aug 9, 2022Through Project Create, we were able to get a Cricut Maker 3 for the classroom! This machine has been used on an almost daily basis by students. Students get to design and produce their own decals. They have used this ability to create a variety of projects. It has been amazing to see students get to take an idea from their heads all the way to production. They are so happy and proud when they have their final products in hand. This machine will continue to be an amazing addition to the classroom for years to come!
Thank you for your support!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Bill Gates and 5 other donors.Project POWER
Funded Aug 1, 2022I am overwhelmed with the amount of support I have received! In a single day we funded this project! I am so grateful for all who contributed. Your donations have gone a long way in supporting student projects this year.
Using the coin cell batteries and copper tape, almost 200 students have been able to learn about the basics of electronic circuits! The hands on construction of their own circuits resulted in deep learning that goes far beyond a what could be covered by a textbook or powerpoint alone. I saw students get engaged in the construction of this project.
So far this year, the AA batteries funded through this project supported the launch of approximately 75 model rockets. Coinciding with the launch window of NASA's Artemis Mission, students have been able to learn about space travel through launching rockets of their own! I am so excited to see what else this year has in store!”
With gratitude,
Mr. Costamagna
