    Your generous donations have made my students and I fully aware of the generosity of complete strangers. The materials have provided my students with the opportunities to put their thoughts into organized written pieces that they can and will be proud of. Your donations have given my students access to the resources that they need to be great writers, thus making the writing process an exciting one. Something as simple as a pencil case to organize their writing tools meant so much to these 2nd grade writers. Having durable notebooks and folders where they could keep their writing entries gives them the ability to track their progress and set goals for their future pieces. Having their own pair of headphones to use as they research topics also helps to make the writing process and exciting on. Your donations have renewed my passion for teaching.”

    even with todays' advances in technology for children paper is still so necessary because it gives opportunities to create, organize and document. Because of your donations, I have not had to be concerned about not having enough paper for homework packets, worksheets, printable books or assessments. The generous supply of paper has given my students the opportunity to document their thought processes and understandings.”

  • Building Math Readiness & Understanding Value

    Thank you so much for your generous donations to my "Building Math Readiness & Understanding Value" project. Math is so necessary in today's world. Your donations have definitely helped to give my students a better understanding of numbers and numerical values. The math visual aids and hands on math tools have helped my students to have a variety of ways in which they are able to visualize and manipulate numbers. Because of economic disadvantages and various learning gaps, many of my students' understanding of numbers and numerical values are at a delay. Your generous donations are helping my students to close the learning gap. Our academic journey for this year is just beginning, however I am confident that this project will continue to enhance my students' mathematical understanding.”
