Paper Is Magical!
Funded Sep 18, 2024Thank you so much for your donations towards my Paper is Magical project. Your generosity and contributions have made such a meaningful impact in my student's daily instructional days. Words and photos cannot express how much your donation means to us. So far, the copy paper has given me the resources needed for homework packets, printable worksheets, printable reference charts, etc. The donation of paper has given my students the opportunity to create, show what they know and practice strategies that they learned during the instructional day.
Your donation has ensured that my students will have enough paper for a successful school year of learning and fun. Thanks so much!”

Funded Oct 22, 2023Thank you for your donations to my "Bins, Caddies, & Boxes, Oh My!" project. It is my belief that an organized classroom promotes a safe and productive space for students during the instructional day. Your donations of bins, caddies, and boxes, have helped to give my students an organized classroom during the instructional day. The donations have helped keep materials organized and easily accessible to my students. The bins and boxes have really helped us to organize our Math area. The caddies have helped me to give necessary materials to small groups in an organized fashion. My students and I greatly appreciate your donation and your sacrifice.”

Funded Oct 19, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donations towards my "Basic Supplies Needed for the New School Year" project. Your donations of pencils, a classroom pencil sharpener, erasers, and pencil cases (which ended up being added as a substitution item) have helped my students to have the materials needed to make learning possible. The colorful pencil cases were given to students earlier in the year. Each student received a pencil case filled with an assortment of pencils and erasers. The pencils are usually given out periodically. Students choose their own fun themed pencil with a colorful eraser. Students are encouraged to keep their pencils in their pencil cases. This system helps students to keep their writing utensils organized.
Thank you so much for your donation of classroom glue. Little did I know when I requested the glue that the students and I would eventually use the glue to make slime. However, making slime has been a great reward incentive for my students. The experience of making slime is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activity. The activity deals with polymers (white glue & liquid starch) and Newtonian fluids (water), and how they bond together to become a non-Newtonian fluid (slime).
Although a classroom set of headphones was not on my original list, I ended up adding it as a replacement item, because one of the original items was no longer available. Words cannot express how helpful it is for students to have headphones to use with their devices.
Once again, thank you so much for your generous donations. Your donations have ensured that my students had quality materials to make learning successful.”

Funded May 10, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donations to my "A Printer With Color, Please!" project. It is so helpful when students can have organized worksheets where they can show what they know in an organized way. Your donations of a printer with ink have aided in providing my students with colorful worksheets, diagrams, graphic organizers and charts. The printer and ink have helped to provide my students with the colorful visual aids that they need to make learning more engaging and meaningful.
Because of economic disadvantages and various learning gaps, many of my students' academic understanding are at a delay. Your generous donations are helping my students to close the learning gap. Our academic journey for this school year is just beginning, however I am confident that this project will continue to enhance my students' academic understanding.”

Funded Apr 13, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donations to my "Building Math Readiness & Understanding Value" project. Math is so necessary in today's world. Your donations have definitely helped to give my students a better understanding of numbers and numerical values. The wipe and write boards, the place value math tools, and the money math tools have helped my students to have a variety of ways in which they are able to visualize and manipulate numbers. These materials have also helped my students to make connections between digits and the value that these digits have. Because of economic disadvantages and various learning gaps, many of my students' understanding of numbers and numerical values are at a delay.
Your generous donations are helping my students to close the learning gap. Our academic journey for this year is still in its beginning stages, however I am confident that this project will continue to enhance my students' mathematical understanding.”

Funded Feb 9, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation towards my project "Pencils, Erasers and Dry Erase Markers, Oh My!" My students and I are truly grateful for the supplies.
Unfortunately, many of my students don't always have the basic materials to make their learning successful. Many of my students also need to be taught how to take care of these materials. Your donations of pencils, pencil cases, erasers, and dry erase markers have supported my students learning throughout the school year.
I usually have my students choose a pencil and eraser on Mondays as a "Happy Monday Treat". My students love the idea of choosing their own colorful pencils. My students are encouraged to put their pencils into their pencil cases and keep them there when they are not using them. I have noticed that when students are given the opportunity to choose their own colorful pencil and eraser, they have a great appreciation for these materials.
In addition to giving my students necessary supplies, your donations are helping my students to be responsible for their learning.”

Funded Jan 23, 2023My students and I are so grateful for your generous donations towards my project "Leveled Readers Can Make Great Readers". Many of my students had severe reading gaps at the beginning of the school year. Your donations gave my students access to a variety of books that they could successfully read independently.
By having access to these leveled books my students have been able to improve their reading fluency, as well as their reading comprehension. Your donations included zip lock bags which we used book baggies. These book baggies helped my students and I to have a system for keeping books in good condition when students borrowed them. As the year progressed, my students were able to read more complex texts, thus closing their reading gaps.
The ability to read with understanding is a necessary skill to have. Thank you so much for your contribution to ensuring that my students have the opportunity to be life long readers.”

Funded Dec 16, 2022Thank you very much for your generous donations to my "Enriching Learning Experiences" project. Your donations have helped to improve and increase my students' attention, focus as well as enthusiasm. My students absolutely love the flexi seats. The flexi seats have been a hit in my classroom. We added the flexi seats to our classroom library and these seats are used as a reward, a calming down option, a reading spot and/or an independent space option for students. The Better Than Paper bulletin board paper is definitely helping us to continue the brick theme throughout the classroom. Thanks so much for the strong and durable pencil sharpener which helps students to keep their pencils sharpened, and is such a necessity. And last but not least, thank you for the post its which gives students and I the opportunity to jot down our thinking.”

Pencils, Erasers and Dry Erase Markers, Oh My!
Funded Oct 26, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donations to my "Pencils, Erasers and Dry Erase Markers, Oh My!" project. My students were so grateful to receive the variety of colorful as well as fun pencils and erasers. Many of my students are eager to show as well as share their academic thinking, when given the opportunity to use the dry erase markers and whiteboard clipboards. The laminating pouches are so greatly appreciated because they give my students and I the opportunity to preserve student anchor charts/ graphic organizers so that they can be used over and over again. By giving my students these learning tools, you have contributed to their long term learning.”
