Asd Classroom Essentials!
Funded Aug 27, 2024thank you so much for you generosity and support. With your help, you have organized and welcoming classroom for my 5th grade ASD students which promotes tools for learning and making academic strides.
The storage bins have aided in organizing our various classroom supplies and have made it easy for my students to independently ask and locate the tools that they need for learning! To further promote out work with social emotional learning the book "A Little Spot of Emotion" was the biggest his in our classroom! The book helped the students locate and name their feelings and they use the plushies daily to put names to their feelings, the book and characters have become a favorite in our class calming corner. Lastly the math tools (number line and multiplication chart) have given my students further independence in math by allowing them to answer addition and multiplication questions using a concrete visual tool!
Thank you again for your contribution to our classroom and for promoting the importance of a safe and inclusive learning environment for diverse learners.”
With gratitude,

ASD Classroom Sensory Needs
Funded Aug 14, 2024thank you so much for you generosity and support. With your help, you have created a safe and welcoming calming sensory corner for my 5th grade ASD students which has become vital in regulating their needs and promoting tools for expression.
The weighted animals and sensory mats have aided my students in moments of distress by giving them an outlet for their feelings of overstimulation. The chair kick bands have been instrumental in helping students that need to move active, engage in learning while remaining in their work space for longer periods of time. Lastly the headphones have been essential for fire drills and assemblies where loud noises can be present, allowing each child to have their own pair promotes their advocacy for using tools that they need to cope with external stimuli.
Thank you again fro your contribution to our classroom and for promoting the importance of a safe and inclusive learning environment for diverse learners.”
With gratitude,
