Building Words Made Fun!
Funded Sep 29, 2022Thanks to you donation my students are able to use the magnetic board and color-coded letter set to help them build and manipulate words. The alphabet magnets provide an interactive aid for my students to practice manipulating and building words during the SPIRE lesson. Along with the letter tiles, there are sound circles and syllable rectangles that can be used to enhance language and phonics skills, pronunciation, and spelling of words through sounding out and labeling.
The students were really excited to be able to use the boards and spell out words that we have been working on. They become confident in the reading and spelling.”
With gratitude,

This classroom project was brought to life by An Anonymous Classroom Supporter and one other donor.Reading Intervention Learning
Funded Aug 2, 2022Thank you again for donating to my project. With your help, I was able to get a kidney table to use during my reading intervention lessons. This table allows for me to directly engage all my students at once and has made delivery of instruction so much easier as well. It has been helpful that I can reach all my students during instruction and can error correct them when errors are first spotted.
My students were so excited when they saw the new table in my classroom. They were so grateful to have such a wonderful gift and had so much to say. They come in each day eager to learn and they are fully engaged.
My students work hard each day to achieve their goal of becoming a better reader. When the right learning environment is in place, it allows my struggling readers to be successful.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. DeVoe
