My second graders are energetic and innovative. They consistently search for new ideas to find a solution to challenges that occur inside and outside the classroom. Like many other students during COVID-19, my students were taught via distance learning. While challenges of distance learning varied from student to student, my students continuously redeveloped their learning growth mindset. With that mind, I recognized how much my students thoroughly enjoy project-based learning centered around reading, math, science, and social studies.
