  • Adding Color to Our Learning

    Thank you so much for helping add color to our learning this year! I know my ELL students will benefit from the visual cues and scaffolds that I will be able to provide that show realistic pictures and highlight key words. I can’t wait to print out books and resources that they will use to learn the English language!”

    Thank you so much for donating to our classroom library. The students in my small groups were able to receive new books to review phonics skills as well as teach them important lessons about teamwork and believing in yourself. Most importantly, my students were able to see themselves in the books and feel represented in our class.

    The Peterson family's contribution made the fundraising for this project possible. Because of them I was able to provide hands-on, appropriate and interesting material to review phonics sounds. My students have enjoyed taking these books home to share with their families and show off their new reading skills.
