See the Rainbow, Print the Rainbow!

First and foremost, I would like to thank each and everyone of you for helping not only my students but also their families. As a first year teacher, I have found myself purchasing various materials to help facilitate my students' education. One of the more costly materials were color copies from Staples. On a weekly basis, I was spending roughly $30 dollars out of pocket to provide activities for my students.

Through my "See the Rainbow, Print the Rainbow" project, I have been able to help my students become more engaged in the curriculum being taught. Through this project, I have also been able to print out visuals and cards to help assist the children during the classroom routines. In addition, I have found that through the use of color, children are able to further develop skills such as letter recognition, number awareness, fine motor skills and picture and word association.
