Markers for Art Making
Funded Aug 12, 2024My classroom has never been so well stocked with so many different options for my students to bring their artworks to life with color. Thanks to donors like you my students are able to use new and different materials for each project, instead of using the same two options over and over again. I am now specifically able to give open ended projects that give students the choice between several different kinds of markers, colored pencils, and pens that they can choose from to create. This freedom gives them more room to express their individual creativity and has even inspired some to try things they never have before. Thank you so much again for your generosity, you have made the difference in the inspiration and art education of my students.”

Funded Aug 15, 2024My classroom has never been so well stocked with cleaning and hygiene products and is continually clean. Thanks to donors like you my students and I have had a healthy start to the year and continue to use the items daily. Especially the Clorox wipes, now that we are creating with paint. I have even had the pleasure of sharing some items such as lotion with students from other classes. On several occasions students see the bottle of lotion on my desk or box of tissues and stop by as they need. Because of this I have gained better relationships with not only my students, but students outside of my classroom as well. Thank you so much again for your generosity, you have made the difference in the health and art education of my students.”

Funded Aug 12, 2024My students have never been so excited about stickers and personalizing their art class materials. Thanks to donors like you my students have a sketchbook they use every day to practice drawing and building their skills. They also have unique folders where they store all classwork, no more lost papers or ripped/torn artworks in messy backpacks or desks. Each student is organized and prepared for class each day which has streamlined the beginning of class and allows more time for classwork and less time looking for items. Thank you so much again for your generosity, you have made the difference in the art education of my students.”

Funded Apr 11, 2023Thank you again for your donation to help make our school a more beautiful and student-centered place of education. Your generosity has been vital to my after school S.T.E.A.M. club students. They were absolutely floored when I unboxed all of the painting materials your kindness has provided for them.
While the cold weather here in New Jersey has kept us from finishing the mural located at the front of our school, we hope to finish within the next month. We were able to finish the front steps of the school, students painted them white then school colors-red and black, before winter but we will be adding to the design. The students have a concept drawing they are excited to start work on. They came up with the idea to paint our school letters on the concrete slabs located on either side of the front steps we already painted. Without your help, they would not be able to finish this project. Thank you so much again for all that you have provided for my students. Having wonderful people like you continuing to fund visual arts projects helps to keep art in our schools.”

Self Expression Through Colorful Art Making
Funded Sep 20, 2022Your generous donation gave my students the ability to have multiple colorful options when completing classroom projects. Most notably they used the sharpie markers and colored pencils to complete their own unique Impression style artworks. Students really loved mixing the different mediums together and expressing themselves with a new art style.
My scholars were extremely grateful and excited when I first presented them with the new coloring options. I had several students immediately grab the vibrant sharpie markers and begin creating their works, some who I had never seen use color before.
We will continue to use the different mediums for the majority of our projects ranging from graffiti art to landscapes/cityscapes and beyond. My art room is more colorful and my students can continue to creatively express themselves because of amazing donors like you.”
