Thank you so much your kind donations to our classroom. With your help we will be able to purchase supplemental activities, crafts, games, and many other magical things to help bring the joy into 2nd grade. I am looking forward to having my students pick out some activities that they are excited to do and are driven by their interests.

  • Colorful Laminated Fun!

    Funded Nov 13, 2024

WOW! I am blown away by your generosity. With your donations, our cardstock supply, both white and colorful, will be replenished. With our new math curriculum adoption, there are many pieces and copies to be made to help make math more hands-on. My students are going to love having colorful copies and paper to make art with.”

  • Snackin' in Second!

    Funded Nov 1, 2024

Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart. Our snack cupboard was running empty. Learning takes grit, perseverance, and a growth mindset, and all of those things take fuel! Thank you for helping supply fuel to growing brains. My students and I are forever grateful for your support.”

  • Hungry Hungry Kinders

    Funded Jan 8, 2024

Thank you so so much for your generous donations. They have allowed me to give my kindergartners a variety of snacks.

The first month of school, students are adjusting to life at school. Due to the pandemic, many of my kindergartners never received preschool or even day care. This was a tough adjustment, as many students were used to snacking more often than school schedules allow. But with your donations, I've been able to provide more snacks for longer than I would have been able to without your help.

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. Snack time is a happy time in my classroom, and my students and I are forever grateful.”

  • We All Have Big Feelings Sometimes

    Funded Mar 30, 2023

Thank you for your support in purchasing the three sets of the "Little Spot of Feelings" series. These books are a great resource for teachers and students as they learn to identify feelings and emotions. They break down different emotions and strategies for students feeling those emotions in such an easy to understand and relatable way.

I was able to use these books not only with my kindergarteners this school year, but also with my first grade students I taught during summer school. Your donations will have a lasting impact on so many children. Thank you for your contributions!”

  • Kindergarten Magic

    Funded May 18, 2023

This gift card has been a lifesaver! This project is my favorite one so far because it has given me more flexibility in my teaching. It has also made our classroom way more fun!

This gift has made a huge impact on these kids. They love all of the activities that I have been able to pull from this site. The classroom climate has positively changed and it has really made my students smile. We've done so many extra fun activities based on our current themes that have added some extra magic to our days.

I am absolutely blown away by the love and support that they have received through the DonorsChoose.org site. This one was very special, and I really appreciate you!”

  • Kinder Students Need Seat Sacks!

    Funded Aug 11, 2023

These seat sacks have made such a huge difference in my classroom! Students are showing responsibility when handling their materials and putting them away. Each student has their own seat sack with a folder in it for their incomplete work to go in. They also store their writing journals and pencil boxes in there.

The seat sacks also cut down our time spent on transitioning between activities. My students are excelling at following our routines and put their materials away quickly before coming to the carpet for our next activity.

Without your donations, these seat sacks would not have been a possibility for my classroom. I truly appreciate your donation. It has made a very positive impact for my students and myself.”

  • Bring on the Butterflies!

    Funded May 10, 2023

Thank you so much for helping me create so many magic moments with my students this year. My class of 18 kindergarteners were ECSTATIC when they saw the caterpillars that we were going to grow. We read several books, donated by you, to learn about the caterpillar and butterfly life cycles and were able to act them out with the puppet and models.

Every day we were able to look at the growth of our caterpillars and their chrysalides, and my students worked on their writing and illustration skills in journals through the life stages. When the butterflies hatched, we let them go outside and continue on their life cycle/journey.

The best part of this whole project is that now, with the exception of the caterpillars themselves, I have all the materials and can continue to make magical moments with future classes. So thank you again from the bottom of my heart. You are your donations are appreciated.”

  • Type B Teacher Turning Type A

    Funded Mar 30, 2023

Thank you! Your donations have helped me purchase crucial pieces for organizing my classroom. As a new teacher, it can be so overwhelming to figure out how to structure your classroom so that it functions smoothly.

I am finally beginning to feel like an established teacher that knows where everything is and that I can plan and prep in a systemic way, thanks to you!

All of my teacher read aloud books can easily be found by theme/month with the magazine holder boxes. All of my extra student supplies are beautifully organized (and soon to be labeled!) so I can quickly grab that extra glue stick when needed.

Please know that I am so grateful for your support. Thank you again.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Howe
