Warmth in the Kindergarten Forest

Thank you so much for your donation to my project, Warmth in the Kindergarten Forest. Without your donation, we may have been able to play outdoors once or twice a day, and our forest time would have been limited due to lack of proper gear. However, your donation has made it possible for the kindergartners to play outside up to three times each day, including an extended (at least 90 minute) forest time for three days each week! Even for students who brought snow pants from home, the snow pants purchased with your generous donations allowed kids to put on a fresh pair of dry snow pants for the next outdoor time. This grew the students' energy, enthusiasm, and stamina for spending time out in the cold and the snow. The fleece jackets have helped kids to stay warm both inside and outside, and one student even commented that it "feels like wearing a super soft cloud!" The kids all want to wear "school snow pants" now, and get very excited when they see a new pair come out of the box.

Because of your donations, we have been able to grow and sustain our forest program in a way that is safe, easy, and fun for the students. Some of the snow gear has already been worn tens of times, but you'd never know it. The gear is sturdy, well-made, and will serve us well for years to come.
