  • Less Computers, More Board Games

    My students love the games. I asked them, "Isn't this much more fun than being on your computer all the time?" They said, "A lot better." They even asked if we could play the games and puzzles again. They loved it and I enjoyed seeing them playing together.

    They were so eager to get started playing the different games. There was something for everyone to do. I was able to get a variety of games, puzzles, and brain teasers to fit everyone's style.

    The next step is to get students off their computers and play more interactive games with other students when they have finished their homework.”

  • Flexible Seating for Energetic Middle Schoolers!

    Funded May 24, 2022

    First, I want to thank you for donating to my project. When my students enter my room, they get excited because it is not like all the other classrooms. It is nice for them to be able to have more flexible seating options and move away from the traditional classroom.

    My students are using the chairs and tables to do classwork. They love that the chairs are comfortable and they do not have to sit completely still in them. They also love that they can go up and down.
