Communication is Connection

I am so appreciative that this project has been funded! I've been able to utilize the iPad as a communication device for those students who do not have a voice. I'm able to model how to use it to communicate and build connections. My students have been able to participate even more with their peers. I've seen growth in their expressive communication and engagement!
This project has also given me a tool to assess if students would benefit from their own communication device. We're able to get trial the device and have students feel comfortable before getting one of their own. Thank you so much!”
