  • Counseling Class Items!

    Funded Mar 23, 2023

Thank you so much for your support and generosity. The counseling items that were donated have brightened up and uplifted the counseling office as well as the students' attitudes and engagements. In addition, the growth mindset poster bulletin board set has provided my students with a boost and reminder of how important it is to develop and maintain a healthy mindset as well as a forward momentum towards their overall happiness, success and a love of learning. The super-fun marble run activity promotes students' engagement and encourages the students to use their imaginations and problem-solving skills.

Thank you so much for your support and generosity in fostering a safe, engaging, fun-filled learning environment for my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lawrence

  • Mindfulness In Counseling

    Funded Jun 25, 2023

Thank you so much for your support and generosity. The mindfulness posters has brightened up and uplifted the counseling office as well as the students' attitudes. In addition, the mindfulness posters has helped to remind the students of grounding strategies they are learning in counseling, simple reminders of the importance of confidentiality and beautified my space and continuously make the environment a safe and serene space.

I express my greatest gratitude for your continuous kindness and support.”

  • No Recess?!?

    Funded Jun 2, 2023

Thank you so much for your support and generosity. My students will definitely benefit from all the activities that were purchased. This project will provide my students with the opportunity to engage in a variety of mess-free art activities. In addition, the activities/materials can be easily transported into the different environments in the school building, such as during lunch/recess in the cafeteria where the students engage in unstructured activities with each other.

Having students engage and interact with the activities provided will help to minimize the boredom and impulsivity that causes students to act out in their free time after lunch, and to build social skills like cooperation, communication, and turn taking instead. They will enjoy engaging in the learning games and will benefit so much from the skills they develop.

I express my greatest gratitude for your continuous kindness and support.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lawrence

  • Crayons, Markers and Counseling Success!

    Funded Jan 26, 2023

Thank you for funding this project with crayons, markers and necessary counseling materials. The materials provided the students with greater opportunities to continue to express their emotions in different creative art forms. Coloring offers an outlet for students to express themselves and encourage them to create their own special masterpieces. In that, the students are grateful for the donations as they continue to utilize these materials to fill their world with colors.

We appreciate your help in making counseling sessions and school-wide presentations fun, colorful, and creative. Thank you again for your support!”

  • Tissues and Wipes Needed for Counseling!

    Funded Jan 18, 2023

Thank you soo much for helping me keep the counseling office sanitized and clean. The counseling office is often a place where students can come and get supported on a social and emotional need. I am grateful to be able to provide the students with the basic needs of tissues to address all different types of expressed emotions such as joy, sadness and lots of tears. In addition, the clorox wipes are a definite contribution to keeping the office free from germs and keeping the toys and play station sanitized at all time.”

  • Cooperative Play With Lego

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Thank you so so much for your generous donations! These LEGO's have had such an impact on my students in counseling. Students are using these LEGO sets to build and explore. They are parallel playing with LEGOs, but can also work cooperatively, using LEGOs to build and create together. Stimulating students' natural curiosity to explore and play together with this versatile LEGO set is so valuable to their social skills!

THank you again for supporting my wonderful students and bringing this project to life!!”

  • Social Emotional Learning

    Funded Jun 7, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donation! The supplies you have furnished will go a LONG way to help my students identify, discuss, and explore their feelings.

The "All About Me" prompts provide the perfect jumping off point to help students begin to share information about themselves, their preferences, and their home lives. The mood mirrors, moody monsters, and dough mats are amazing tools to help students understand baseline emotions and how they may appear to others when they are feeling a certain way. The social emotional match-ups will help them to understand how to explore their reactions to negative emotions and to practice making good choices even when they are not feeling their best.

My students and I cannot thank you enough for adding these tools to our toolkit!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lawrence
