  • Sensory Gym

    Funded Jan 18, 2024

Our population of students are primarily Autistic, we also have non-verbal and some students who like to self-stimulate. When we close the lights in our classroom and put the light on my class is so calm and feel at peace. Those lights have such a calming effect on my students.

They were beyond excited about the lights. They helped take it out of the box. They couldn't believe how long they were. We turned them on and went through every color. Green was a big hit!!! they also liked turning them on and off.

Thank you for brining smiles to my students.”

    With gratitude,

  • Room Divider for PE

    Funded Dec 12, 2023

We have a classroom with many students who have sensory issues or just need to be in a space by themself. The divider that we received has been a game changer in my room. The students love it and it has helped to calm them down or just giving them some peace.

My students where so excited when the saw it and even more excited when we put it up.

A few even helped with the assembly of it and they had fun doing it.

I know I said thank you already, but it really means so much to have wonderful people donate to us.”

  • Snacks to Keep Us Focused

    Funded Dec 30, 2023

Words cannot describe how happy my students were when we received all the delicious snacks, corn chips, pretzels, rice crispy etc., We have a snack bin and we use the snack for different resasons. It can be and incentive for some students or if you didn't come to school with a snack you know you can always take it from the snack bin or if you don't have any snacks at home and want to bring one home.

Nearly all students are from low‑income households. always brings a big smile to their faces. These snacks will help me make sure my students are always full and ready to learn!

Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.”

  • Preparing for Doctor Visits

    Funded Sep 6, 2023

Thank you so much for your generosity. My students and I are so appreciative for everything. My students have a wide range of abilities. Something common to all children, no matter what their ability, is the desire to play, and the desire to belong.

    This project focuses on that.

These materials will be used during structured playtime activities, to help the students build their skills and become good community members.

They are so excited to role play and to learn to work together through play. Thank you for supporting my classroom!”

  • Graduation Day

    Funded Jun 26, 2023

Our Kindergarten & Fifth grader students will be celebrating the completion of the school year, and we wanted them to look sharp and to have the decorations needed to make them feel even more special.

We hold a graduation ceremony at the end of each school year. Our students work so hard all year and deserve a special graduation day. We want the day to be special so they will remember it for a lifetime and strive to graduate many more times in their lives.

Thank you for all you have done for us. I can't wait to see the smiles on their faces!!”

  • Lifecycle of a Ladybug

    Funded Jun 28, 2023

Words cannot describe how excited my students were to receive funding for this project!!! Although many students had experienced a butterfly kit before, none of us - myself included - had previously had the opportunity to witness the life cycle of a ladybug firsthand! It was amazing!

The students were fascinated to see the nymph ladybugs, which looked like tiny scorpions. Young minds are so impressionable and to be able to watch it unfold right before their eyes is priceless. It's something that will stay with them forever.

    Thank you !”

  • Diverse Reward Snacks

    Funded May 28, 2023

First please let me start by saying thank you once again. My students are beyond excited. When I told all the students we received funding for the butterfly kits they jumped for joy and cheered.

When we took the caterpillar's out of the box and placed then in the jar the questions started rolling in. Every day the students take notes about what they are seeing and write questions down that they have. We discuss it and they become even more excited about the process.

We will have a butterfly release party in our school yard and i can't wait to see their faces when we do!”

  • Butterfly Classroom Kit, Making Memories

    Funded May 13, 2023

First and for most I want give you a BIG thank you!! Our students are so excited about the butterfly kits. They cheered and yelled with joy. Each classroom has a kit and with the help of the students have set them up. Every day the students watch the progress of the caterpillars. They ask questions and they take notes, some even make predictions.

In the younger classrooms they draw pictures and watch videos to help them better understand.

But the excitement for all remains the same. We will have a school wide release party. The students are very excited about it.”
