  • What’s Your Choice for Learning?

    I have the flex stools set up at my teacher table so that all students get to use the stools. The students love coming to small groups and sitting on the stools. Having the stools at my teacher table has increased student focus, participation and learning growth.

    The students were very excited when they saw the flex stools and couldn't wait to be able to work with me at my teacher table. The students are looking forward to the new policy I am starting: students with the best assessment results will be able to choose a flex stool to use for the day. I'm looking forward to greater assessment gains as students take increased responsibility for their learning.

    My current Donors Choose project is getting taller stools to use in the back of the classroom so students will be able to see over students in front of them.”
