  • Treasures for Good Measure: Rewarding Positive Behavior

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the items donated to my classroom's treasure chest. The treasure chest has made an incredible impact on my students' motivation, behavior, and overall learning experience. The materials inside have not only been a source of joy and excitement for my students but have also played a significant role in reinforcing positive behaviors and supporting their academic progress.

The treasure chest has allowed me to help students set and work towards personal goals. When a student is struggling with a particular skill or behavior, we can set small, achievable goals for them to earn a reward. This helps students break down larger challenges into manageable steps, teaching them that persistence and effort lead to success. I have seen students who were initially hesitant or resistant to participate begin to take initiative, knowing that their hard work will be rewarded.

I am deeply grateful for your generous contributions to the treasure chest. Your support has made a lasting impact on my students, helping them reach their potential in ways that would not have been possible without these rewards. Thank you for helping create an environment where every student is excited to learn and grow.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Albert

  • Basic Supplies and Materials

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the essential supplies that have greatly impacted my special education classroom. These supplies, including paper, expo markers, ink, laminating sheets, hand sanitizer, and dry erase pouches, have proven to be invaluable tools that have significantly enhanced both the learning environment and the overall educational experience for my students.

We use the expo markers daily to work on our reading and spelling using the Count It, Map It, Graph It, Write It method. I have that method printed and put in the dry erase pouches. There is not a day that we do not utilize those resources. I have been able to preserve components of our reading program by laminating essential pieces that will be used for years to come.

These supplies have had an enormous impact on the success of my students. Not only have they enhanced the learning experience, but they have also fostered a sense of independence, creativity, and excitement for my students. With the help of these resources, I have seen students become more confident in their abilities, work more collaboratively, and feel more supported in their learning journey.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Albert

  • Everything is Better in Color!

    Funded Oct 11, 2023

I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for your incredibly generous donation of a colored printer to my special education classroom. Your thoughtful contribution has made a significant impact on the educational experience of my students, and I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and support.

As you know, having access to a colored printer opens up a world of possibilities for our classroom activities and projects. With this new addition, I have been able to create visually engaging materials that cater to the diverse learning needs of my students. From colorful visual aids to personalized worksheets, the printer has enabled us to enhance my teaching methods and provide my students with the tools they need to succeed.

Moreover, your generosity has not only provided us with a practical resource but has also shown our students that there are individuals like you who care deeply about their education and well-being. Your willingness to invest in their learning journey will undoubtedly inspire them to strive for greatness and reach their full potential.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Albert
