  • Paper for Bulletin Boards to Support my Autistic Students!

    My class and I will like to thank you so much for your donations.

    As soon as I received your donations, I instantly used the bulletin board materials on our outside bulletin board, along with student writing assignments.

    Students were extremely proud to see their writing assignments on our outside bulletin board because the bulletin board materials donated were bright bold and beautiful, and complemented their work so nicely.

    Students were also proud to see their work assignments on our inside classroom bulletin boards, because of the bulletin board materials donated.

  • Sight Word Books and Pencil Holders for My Autistic Students!

    My class and I will like to thank you so much for your donations.

    As soon as I received your donation, I instantly displayed the phonics posters for students to see as visuals to help guide them since the writing was bold and had bright bold colors that grasped their attention.

    Students were also able to use the sight words from the sight word packets during the periods we had our reading and word study block.

    My students are so eager to learn, using these resources.

    I have seen a boost in students confidence while reading and they take pride in letting their teachers, service providers, parents and classmates, know they can read new words by site.

  • Visual Manipulative Math

    Thank you so much, for donating to my students.

    My students were so surprised to see the new materials that we had for our math center, when I placed them in the area. They were truly grateful and wanted to utilize the materials in our math center right away.

    The first assignment students worked on was adding double digit numbers with regrouping. The Hands-On Addition Regrouping Kit assisted in helping students solve the addition problems that were given, because there was a visual in front of them that was helpful.

    We will continue utilizing all materials donated!

  • Color Printer for Special Education Visual Aides and Supports!

    My students and I want to thank you so much for the donation!

    The color printer has been used to print out vibrant pages for adapted books. Adapted books with color grasp their attention and keeps students engaged with what their reading, by seeing vibrant pictures in the book, identifying vibrant objects to count in their math adapted books, identifying bold lines to trace for their writing adapted books.

    The printer saved time for staff and I, by not having to color pictures on pages by hand to get color to grasp students attention.

    The printer has also been useful for other varies things for our classroom as well, such as visuals, signs and homework.
