Portions of school food are the same for students of all ages, and fifth graders are often still hungry after they have finished a meal the same size as their kindergarten schoolmate consumed.   • Social Skills are Important, Too!

    Thank you so so much for your donation to my classroom and students! My students were having trouble this year with some big emotions. By utilizing these games, my students are learning and practicing, real life skills such as turn taking, appropriate waiting and identifying social skills that are necessary to succeed in everyday life. The sensory items and toys are allowing the students to calm their thoughts, emotions and bodies so they can take full advantage of the social and emotional lessons.”
