• Creating the Perfect Reading Corner

  My students are in love with our new reading space. The book stands, carpet, lamp, bookshelf, and tissue box have made our library a popular space in our classroom. My students love to spend time in our new reading space looking through books with

  friends or reading with a teacher. Seeing how much they frequent our reading corner and how at peace my students seem to be when visiting that area makes me so happy. It is definitely one of the most inviting reading corners in our school. Thank you for helping me foster a love of reading in my students.”

• Light Table Center

  Thank you so much for helping me give my students a light table and materials for it. My students are going to be thrilled to have this available in our classroom. • Gardening With Preschoolers!

  Thank you for making our garden possible! My students have enjoyed watching our broccoli, lettuce, and tomatoes grow. My students tend to our veggies daily. They take turns watering the veggies and have made great observations regarding the insects that we have seen on our garden bed. At the moment we are trying to figure out what insect is eating our broccoli and what we can do to save our broccoli. Tomorrow we will be adding cloves onto our soil to see if that helps keep the insects from eating our broccoli. Overall, this garden has given my students a great insight on what it's like to grow food.”

• Calming Area

  Thank you so much for making our calming area come to life! My students were thrilled to see this area added to our classroom. They have treated our new area with so much care. They know a group of nice people donated everything to us and they appreciate each one of you.

  The calming area has become a very popular area in our classroom. My students go into this area whenever they are seeking time alone or when they want to discuss their emotions. They have enjoyed the fidget toys, plush animals, and all the books on emotions.”

• Making Circle Time More Comfy

  Thank you so much for donating these floor cushions to my students. My students loved them the minute they saw them. We use them every day during carpet time. The cushions have even helped some of my students learn the colors: red, blue, yellow, green, purple, and orange (the colors of the cushions). In addition, we have used these cushions to practice our AB, ABB, ABC patterning. Lastly, we have used these cushions for music and movement as musical "chairs". Overall, these cushions have made a great impact in my classroom. They make sitting for my students more comfortable and they also make a great teaching tool.”

• Floor Puzzles and Storage Boxes

  Thank you for your generous donation. My students have really enjoyed working with the floor puzzles you donated to us. The floor puzzles have provided my students with a fun opportunity to work together as a team to achieve one goal. More specifically, the alphabet floor puzzle has helped my students with knowledge of the alphabet. They love shouting out letters and scrambling through all the different puzzle pieces to find the letter that comes next in the sequence. Once again thank you for choosing to help bring floor puzzles into our classroom.”

• Classroom Supplies

  Funded May 1, 2022

  My students and I are loving the resources you provided for us. Since the time of your donation, my students have shown a great interest in writing. I am working on providing my students with more writing opportunities. Many of them use the dry erase markers to write their names, peers' names, numbers, as well as sight words.

  My students' reactions when they first saw the materials were of pure joy. They were eager to put to use the dry erase markers as well as the glue sticks. My students were also appreciative of the new storage boxes we received to store our classroom supplies.
