  • Financial Literacy for Seniors

    Thank you for helping me bring "Money Out Loud" into my classroom! Reading through this book with my students helped them focus on what they can do to become financially independent as they enter life after high school.

    The activities that are included in the book have helped students get a better understanding of all of the options there are in the financial world, and will give them the basis to make more responsible financial decisions as adults. Reading this book also encouraged them to ask questions they may never have thought about before about budgeting, bank accounts, and other important financial literacy topics!”

  • Coloring Club

    Thank you for helping me bring more coloring into my students' lives! These supplies and coloring books have given us a chance to decompress and relax during our free time both during and after school this semester.

    I am excited to start next semester with enough supplies to have an active coloring club with a larger student membership and reach even more students with this beneficial practice for mental health. The supplies are also helpful in my academic classes and make note-taking and some of our practice activities more fun by allowing students to add color to their everyday activities!”

  • Reading and 'Rithmetic

    Thank you so much for helping me bring these materials into my classroom. The book sets are making it easier for students at all levels to find something to read from my classroom library and giving me time to remember some of the books I loved when I was younger. Being able to provide options for students at every level has made it possible to give students who finish early or just need a break from their assignments something to do during those end-of-day minutes when the classroom can get chaotic.

    While the math classroom isn't the typical venue for reading time, our school encourages literacy for everyone, so being able to show support for that initiative by providing books in my classroom has made a major impact.”

  • Hands-on Learning and Remediation

    These resources helped me bring more fun into my classroom to practice the basic math skills that my students need. Everyone loves playing bingo games during our shortened Friday class periods, and these fraction and percent tiles helped solidify my seniors' understanding of the relationship between fractions, decimals, and percents. I can't wait to break out the geoboards for a better understanding of the Pythagorean Theorem, special right triangles, and properties of quadrilaterals. Bringing in hands-on activities helps even my most reluctant learners engage in the material and expand their understanding of the concepts we're learning.”
