Accessing Curriculum

We are currently using these materials to help us dive into the creative curriculum. They have allowed us to provide the students with engaging lessons that provide them with the supports they need to meet lesson objectives. Some of these objectives include letter identification, counting from 1 to 10, understanding measurements, and attending to read alouds provided by an adult.

The students were excited to see the new materials and were more willing to participate in the activities. It has increased attention maintenance and provided students with more opportunities to show their prior knowledge from their real life experiences.

The next steps are to continue providing students with the resources they need to be able to have lessons that are adaptive to their needs. We want them to reach their IEP goals and be able to continue engaging in lessons.”
