Listen and Learn!
Funded Dec 2, 2022Headphones are essential every day in our classroom especially as we move forward toward a technology driven environment. The state STAAR exam has also transitioned to computer format therefore my students need the practice with a headphone and microphone.
Without working headphones, it is extremely difficult for my students to complete their daily online assignments. My students are excited to use the microphone feature since it helps them develop their ideas to produce short responses and essays. My students are very excited to have headphones that are comfortable and durable.
My entire class has benefited from these headphones as not only is the microphone feature great but also help keep and quiet environment. This keep my class focused and concentrated on their tasks.”

Funded May 6, 2022My students are used the new CRICUT machine to design and create the t-shirts for the field trip last school year. They brainstormed and came up with a design that they liked and created their own class t-shirt. It was a very exciting and challenge experience for them. It took a lot of cooperative work and class discussions as well as learning how to maneuver the CRICUT to their advantage. After a couple of YouTube lesson, our class accomplished the goal at hand.
The students were extremely happy and excited when the box was delivered to our classroom. They immediately wanted to open the box and get started with the project. They were thrilled to learn how to design, cut and print their own shirts.
The students created their own t-shirts and then we used the CRICUT machine to cut out letters to create posters and bulletin boards. The next steps are to continue to allow my students to create their projects using the CRICUT. They are able to use creativity and passion to design and decorate our classroom, hall and future t-shirts.”
