The introduction of MacBook Air laptops has revolutionized our approach to literacy and language skills development, seamlessly integrating technology into our daily lessons. With direct access to a variety of digital resources and collaborative tools, students have experienced a more dynamic and engaging learning environment, enhancing their interaction with literature and writing assignments. The laptops' lightweight and portable nature has not only facilitated flexible learning arrangements, encouraging both individual and collaborative projects, but has also improved students' writing skills and honed their digital literacy. As a teacher, witnessing the increased enthusiasm for learning and the growth in students' confidence in both technological and literary abilities has been incredibly rewarding. Overall, the project has not only provided essential tools for academic success but has also opened up new avenues for personalized and student-driven learning, truly transforming our ELA classroom into a space where literacy and technology converge to foster a love for learning and excellence in language arts.”

Funded Sep 26, 2023Starting the "Fueling Success: Nutritious Snacks for Empowered Learning" project on DonorsChoose had the potential to make a positive impact on my students' learning. Providing healthy snacks not only met immediate needs like hunger but also created a focused and attentive classroom. The sustained energy from these snacks helped students engage more in their studies, making the learning environment better for academic growth. Additionally, the project aimed to foster a sense of well-being among students, enhancing their overall learning experience with a positive and caring atmosphere.
Beyond the classroom, the project aimed to encourage lifelong healthy habits by discussing balanced eating and its broader impact on health. It also supported students facing food insecurity, ensuring they had the resources needed to succeed academically. The collaborative efforts of the community and donors not only directly helped students but also emphasized the importance of working together to enhance the overall educational experience. As a teacher, this project was a meaningful way to address the holistic needs of my students, promoting a positive teacher-student relationship and providing a sense of fulfillment in contributing to their success.

Funded Mar 18, 2023The impact of "Mission Possible: Lots of Dreams of Lost Dreams" on my classroom was immediate and profound. Students, once hesitant about reading and writing, now eagerly delved into the world of literature particularly in Journalism.
Microsoft Surface Laptop is of great help to help my students to come up with more beautiful and meaningful projects in Journalism class. The creation of newsletters, magazines, and web designs is a great way to expand their knowledge and create an audience in a particular area of journalism.

LEAP: Learning English Through Exciting Activities and Be A Pro
Funded May 5, 2022I want to extend my gratitude for the donations you shared with me and with my students. Your donations have gone a long way! Just to share this, one of my students even said during a reading activity through the use of Kindler and IPad that she hasn't done that kind of reading all her life and that she's started loving reading now. I really felt very happy and teary-eyed upon hearing that. It's fulfilling. It's motivating. It's rewarding.
I love my students so much that I will do everything just for them to love and have fun learning. Without you, I am not pretty sure how to make this intervention and transformation a success!
I hope you support my next project "Increasing Students' Engagement In Journalism Through Tech Tools". Please help me give my students in Journalism tech tools to increase student engagement, facilitate personalized learning, and help them engage more in technical writing, creating digital outputs, web designing, and whatnot.
