  • Help Build an Electricity and Magnetism Center

    This project has been a big blessing! My little scientists absolutely love these new science tools and look forward to using them each day! So much rich conversation and learning has been sparked and developed in such a short time with the use of the marble run, tap lights and busy light boards! The sense of confidence each scientist feels when they discover something new or make something work has been something out of a movie! Whenever the children come to science, they get so excited because they know they're about to have a lot of fun and I know they're about to make something major discoveries.   • Water Play Center In The STEM Room

    Funded Jul 3, 2024

    Our little scientists are over the moon with excitement at using our new water center toys! One project students have been working on in the water play center is exploring the use of tubes and funnels. With the help of the wading suits and anti slip floor tiles the students have been able to deeply immerse themselves in messy play without the worry of slipping and a full clothing change.

    When they first saw the water center, everyone wanted to play and there were a few tears for students who had to wait their turn. However, they were quickly distracted with the many other STEM activities available.

    The next project I'd love to set up for our little learners is a hydroponic garden for them to care for and grow healthy herbs and veggies for them to try.”
