Resources That Engage Student Learning

Thank you so much for donating to this project! With your help, I was able to purchase several resources from Teachers Pay Teachers. My students have loved working on the cute math and reading comprehension worksheets. Students find the TPT worksheets visually appealing, and they enjoy coloring the cute designs on their papers once their work is complete. The worksheets are also easy for me, as the teacher, to quickly look over, correct, and assess students' understanding.

Additionally, my students have really enjoyed working with the colorful hands-on boxed set activities. They use these for practicing sight words and phonics skills. These materials help my lowest struggling readers feel successful and have fun learning with their peers at the same time! I can quickly explain to students how to use these activities, so once I walk away to assist other kids, they can work together and help each other. This makes learning meaningful for all.

Other students have been very engaged with the Social-Emotional Match-Ups puzzle sets and the Grab & Write Social-Emotional Prompts. Some students worked with partners while other students discussed the social-emotional prompts in small groups. They definitely were excited to answer the interesting questions and share their personal life experiences and feelings. I heard a lot of excitement, laughter, and loud chatter at this activity!
