  • Sensory Bins

    Funded Nov 9, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom! My students will love these sensory bins and they will be a fantastic addition to our learning centers. I am so grateful to you for your consideration and kindness and I know that my students will be also! May many blessings come to you.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Haigler

  • Paper Towels

    Funded Aug 23, 2023

Thank you for your philanthropy. My young learners are small people but boy can they make a big mess! We use these paper towels daily to wipe hands, clean spills, and sanitize shared supplies that have found their way into tiny mouths. We also use these paper towels for our daily snack time, to minimize the temptation to eat directly off of our desks - especially when our snack is something sticky like apple slices or orange wedges!

Thank you for your kind donation and your consideration of our classroom and its young learners. May all good things come your way!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Haigler

  • Construction Paper

    Funded Aug 3, 2023

Thank you for your amazing donation of construction paper. Because I know this is a resource we use all year long - and because I always use to create my bulletin boards, word wall, and class charts - it was a huge relief to know that this project was funded and these supplies would be available.

Although I send out a supply list to parents, I know that this can be quite a financial burden and it is such a benefit to students and their families that costs can be defrayed by donors like you, and your considerate sponsorship. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Haigler

  • Storage Bins

    Funded Sep 6, 2023

Thank you for your kind donation! Students returned to school yesterday and this was such a wonderful way to kick off the school year! These storage bins will be extremely useful this school year and I know they will continue to be of use for years to come.

    Many blessings to you.”

  • Markers for Little Hands

    Funded May 14, 2023

Thank you so much for these markers! My students who struggle with grip strength will gain so much from these egg shaped writing instruments. They will now be able to draw and label pictures with practice and support, just as their peers do. Your kindness and consideration has made a huge difference to our class.”

  • Tissues and Clorox Wipes

    Funded Jan 16, 2023

This winter, we battled colds, flus, RSV, COVID, strep throat, and stomach bugs. We quickly ran through the supplies provided by our school; parents supplemented by sending what they could from home and we ran through these as well! I began purchasing tissues and clorox wipes out of pocket.

The donation you provided allowed out class to practice and maintain good hygiene by wiping and blowing our runny noses and wiping down our surfaces to minimize the spread of germs this past winter.

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to help keep sickness at bay.

    Thank you kindly.”

  • Label of Love

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

My young students are enthusiastic learners, always ready to jump in with both feet. They love beginning new lessons and projects and they are so proud of themselves when they are able to do things independently - rightfully so!

My students need some support in learning organizational skills and labeling items around the classroom. In addition to enhancing their sight word vocabularies this also helps them to be more organized and independent.

Thank you for helping to support this learning with your donation of a label maker and labeling supplies!”

  • Rainbow Editing

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

My students are learning to edit their writing, and they are collecting editing skills like some children collect Pokemon. First, they learned to edit for capitalization and collected a red pen to use on their first draft. Second, they learn to edit for punctuation and collected an orange pen to use. They will soon collect a yellow pen for indenting paragraphs, a green pen for correcting spelling mistakes, a blue pen for adding describing words, and a purple pen for including transition words!

This "Rainbow Editing System" helps make the editing process, often dreaded by children, a LOT more enjoyable for my students. It also allows me to scaffold instruction so that children are held accountable only for the skills that are developmentally appropriate for them.

The white-out sticks and gel pens you have provided are instrumental in getting the students engaged in this process. Thank you!”

  • On Your MARKER, Get Set, Go!

    Funded Sep 20, 2022

My students are visual and kinesthetic learners. They learn best when instruction is accompanied by pictures and diagrams that help to remind them of the steps they must take and/or the directions they must follow to complete a task. In our classroom, I am often generating charts and graphs, and graphic organizers for the students to use.

Colorful charts, graphs, and graphic organizers benefit my young learners by allowing pictures to accompany text and thereby allowing non-readers and early readers to access the information being presented. The colorful markers you have provided are amazing for the students to use and for me to use in creating resources for my class. Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Haigler
