When I first requested these items it was before February. Unfortunately, I didn't get the funds before February. Nonetheless, we ended up celebrating and continuing our project in April.
In my SEL/Homeroom classroom, our students created goodie bags. There were able to show compassion and give back. We had a blast creating letters for friends and teachers. Each student chooses a special someone at our campus to give a goodie back and a letter.
They wrote a kind phrase and a reason they were thankful to have their friendship this school year. You have helped us create a welcoming and warm classroom/school culture.
Thank you.”
With gratitude,

I have to say thank you on behalf of my students and colleagues whom I share my classroom with. With the items provided, we have arranged our classroom so that our students have their own table where they can easily access supplies such as their charging station and pencil sharpener.
In addition, students can store their work in their assigned drawers. Previously I had nowhere to put their turned-in assignments. NOw each period has a designated drawer. I believe that a well-organized classroom helps provide a better learning environment for students.”
The resources provided by your generous donation have been used for our classroom store. Our school uses a system known as PBIS. Students have been earning points and them exchanging them for the objects provided by you.
When my students first saw the supplies they were amazed that a stranger would think about them. They were surprised that there are people like yourself who take interest in their education.
I have one of the coolest stores in which my students are always excited to purchase items. Since the opening of my classroom store students have showed more motivation in wanting to engage in classroom discussion. Students have also been better at following the school wide expectations.”

Thankyou for your donations and support. My students at Mater Academy where surprised when they saw a box arrive to our classroom. They were happy to know people and companies like you care about them.
Our students use the supplies funded on a daily basis. We have a station with highlighters that they use everyday to annotate their reading. We've found it extremely helpful to have different colors available for each students. They are able to color code important information, definitions, and interesting parts of a text. The notebooks provided are used for they daily journal entries. One of our favorite items are the bookmarks. With the bookmarks provided I am able to see who is following along. This simple object has minimized the amount of wondering eyes we have during reading time.”
