The young children I work with are intelligent, creative, and full of wonder. They come from a diverse community and speak a variety of languages: Spanish, French, Arabic, Din - are some of the languages spoken in my school community. The families of these children are working hard each day to make sure that their loved little ones have the essentials. These families want the best for them. The children want an education that develops all dimensions of their humanity. These amazing children are currently working on our school gardens which they enjoy so much! Also, they love music and movement, but the school has no resources to meet this need. I have seen how dancing and singing brings so much joy to them. As a teacher, I want the children in my school community to blossom like marvelous flowers and sing like magnificent Sonoran Desert birds that brighten our lives each and every day. Esta comunidad es grandiosa!
