  • Positive Reinforcement

    Funded Apr 7, 2025

Thank you so much for your donation! I will be able to reward my students for their excellent behavior! I will also be able to provide pencils and erasers for any student that is in need! A student should never have to worry about if they have a pencil or not and you are keeping them from that worry! Thank you!”

  • Turning Dyslexia Around

    Funded Sep 12, 2024

Thank you so much for your donation! I was able to successfully complete this Professional Development for Dyslexia. I learned so much on how to help students that have reading challenges. Even in Math it is important to be able to help students read. There are a lot of word problems, especially during these times in education. There is a greater emphasis on reading than there is math.

It is important even for a math teacher to know how to help students with their reading skills. With this training there were a lot of new techniques on how I can teach my students how to read their math word problems.

I am beyond grateful for your donation that allowed me to attend this class. Thank you so much!”

  • Starting Strong

    Funded Oct 10, 2024

Thank you so much for supplying my classroom with these basic needs! Students will use their folders to create an interactive "notebook" so that they can keep up with their anchor charts that we create in class. Students also need a place to keep their papers instead of just throwing them in their backpack. With your donation we are able to become organized as a class.

The pencils and paper came in just in time! My students go through pencils left and right, it's almost like they eat them. Haha. Students use a lot of paper in our math class and we just ran out!

Thank you again for helping out my classroom! You are amazing! Keep doing what you're doing!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Hopkins

  • Listening Ears

    Funded Sep 11, 2023

In my classroom we use a lot of technology for testing and for interventions. There are many opportunities for students to have their test read to them for the students that struggle with reading comprehension. Giving them headphones allows for them to utilize these resources. It has helped tremendously with math interventions, they are able to watch videos that gives them an additional way to learn how to complete and understand the math that they are learning.

My students are extremely happy that they have received new headphones as well as new colorful expo markers for when we are doing our hands on learning with whiteboards. Paper seems to be boring for middle school students but when you bust out the whiteboards and colorful expo markers they are suddenly willing to get all their work done!”

  • Standing Strong

    Funded Jun 20, 2023

Your donation has provided standing desks for my students to be able to get a break from sitting all day. We ask our students to sit down and be still the better half of 5 hours each day. I know a lot of adults that wouldn't be able to do that. Being able to provide standing desks for my students is one of the most amazing things for my classroom. They are used daily and allows my ADHD students to be able to move around a little bit while they are working.

Your donation has also provided paper towels to clean up the many messes that my middle school students cause. It provided Kleenex's and Lysol wipes to help with sanitary needs. Middle School students can be just a germy as Kinder students and being able to take care of their needs is a extremely helpful and needed.”

  • Math Achievers in Need

    Funded Feb 28, 2023

Before your donation that included white boards and expo markers we were doing a variety of different things from printing out worksheets to use sheet protectors with white paper in it for a do it yourself white board.

Now that we have real white boards and expo markers with colors other than black they were very excited to receive them. We have done several whiteboard activities where students can rapid fire questions and we can work on them one at a time and easily see and address and mistakes that they have.”

  • Calculators for Academic Success

    Funded Mar 21, 2023

Thank you so much for donating calculators to my classroom! I have been teaching for 6 years and never had a class set of calculators. This honestly makes me feel like a "real" math teacher now.

There are so many lessons that require calculators for a speedier lesson but because of this, I lose students interest while solving the problems because it either takes "too long" or I am just giving answers to them.

My students have been very excited to use the calculators and their comprehension on the new skill has greatly improved. I am able to focus on the new concept instead of long division or multi-digit multiplication.

Thank you so much for donating to our low income school where we need all the help that we can get!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Hopkins

  • Building a Better Community

    Funded Jul 13, 2022

Thank you for contributing to this project. All of the items that were purchased provided something different and new for my students.

The clipboards are my students most favorite items to have in the classroom. This allows them to move around the classroom and sit in different types of seating other than the traditional desk and chair. Students often get overwhelmed in class while working on independent assignments and ask to go in the hallway. Before the clipboards they were sitting in the hallway with their papers on the floor, now they are able to grab their clipboard and work in a quieter environment for their success.

Another contribution was a credit to Teachers Pay Teachers, this is a site that provides amazing curriculum that I use for Project Based Learning. We are currently working on a Finance Literacy unit where students are creating a full monthly budget that includes meal planning.”

  • Student Success

    Funded May 9, 2022

When we first created this project, we didn't think that many would donate. Usually at our school we're always fundraising and sometimes it's a huge success while others fall flat. They were excited that we created a supply list that will help them finish the year strong. We even created videos to post within our community to get them interested and to spread the word. When I told them that we were fully funded they erupted in cheers and then an applause.

When I unpacked the materials several students from all of my classes said "We don't have to leave the classroom for a pencil or to sharpen one!" Giving my students the literally tools like pencils and paper are extremely helpful to their daily school life. Everyone was able to have the supplies that they needed.

We are beyond thankful for your donation our classrooms!”
