Imagination Created in Watercolor
Funded Mar 20, 2022I work in the Cartwright Elementary School District which is made up mostly of low-income families. The school was built in 1963 and over the years there have been many art teacher that have brought their talent to this school. Some of the equipment that we use has been around for years and starting to show its age for example our drying rack. To have received the new racks puts a smile on my face. As I get ready to retire, I want to know that my students will have the best equipment needed to have the best art room for them to be successful. My fourth graders are currently working on a painting of water lilies based on the work of Monet. We discussed the proper colors to use and how things are placed in the painting. As we finished for the class period, we placed each painting on the individual shelves. It was nice to have the width for multi paintings and that each individual shelf lifted for easy access. These racks will get tons of use while allowing the students to explore a variety of painting techniques. Thank you for allowing me to purchase the drying racks, paper and paint brushes. Money well spent.”
With gratitude,
