  • Up in Stitches - Sewing in Middle School!

    Our sixth graders appreciate your support in diving in to our passions!! We can’t wait to get started on new projects and grow our skills! We’re going to work on sewing in straight lines :) and have some fabric ready! Our next step is to use that embroidery feature to sew on our school logo, the Cricket! Go crickets!”

  • Listening for Learning

    I would like to take some time to tell you how much I appreciate the donations you have made to my classroom! I love to enhance student learning by using technology, and the headphones have given me the opportunity to continue this.

    So far, we have used the headphones to take online spelling tests and practice our keyboarding skills. This week, we are starting to create a PhotoStory - the finished product will be a recorded handwritten story put to music and pictures. The students are very excited! With the different recordings and music selection going on around the room, the headphones will help everyone focus on (and be able to hear!) his/her story.

My classroom is a part of a rural community in Wisconsin. My students work hard and enjoy learning with technology. They always are excited to grow in this area. With so many jobs requiring the use of technology, we try to use it almost daily for various programs, but having headphones would help us to do more things.
