Games! Games! Games!
Funded Aug 25, 2022Thank you so much for the games and P.E. equipment. My students are always excited to have new materials to use during centers and P.E. They had fun using the tug of war rope and I plan to come up with different ways to use the rope in the future. I am teaching plants in the coming semester and plan to use the plants and animals center with my students during the unit. I am teaching Human Body in fourth quarter and my students can use the Human Body game during that time. They will be additional ways to get my students engaged in the learning and to help them retain the information through repetition.
Thanks again!”
With gratitude,

Funded Mar 13, 2022Thank you so much for the P.E. resources provided for my students. They are using them for both free play and structured recess activities. They have so much fun rolling across the basketball court on the scooters or using them to "rescue" their friends during tag games. Other classes have seen us using the scooters and begged their teachers to get them scooters as well. We have used the bowling pins to play games that require students to knock over the other team's pin or to be the first to grab the pin from the middle of the playing area. We have used the beanbags for structured games involving grabbing the beanbags from a large playing area without getting caught. The rest of the equipment is used during free play as an optional activity.
My students were very excited when they first saw the materials, especially the scooters. They wanted to use them as soon as possible and could not wait for free play so they could try them out.
In the future, I intend to use the items to introduce additional new games into my P.E. time so the students can have more games to choose from during P.E. time and free play time at school. This will help the students be more excited for P.E. time and not feel like they are playing the same games all the time. This would not be possible without your generosity, so again, THANK YOU!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Zeller
