Preschool Learning Time!

Excitement, enjoyment, optimism, exploration, creativity, imagination, and critical thinking skills are a few words to describe what we were able to work on and practice thanks to the Donors Choose materials gifted to our Preschool Program. When the materials arrived, the children's curiosity and excitement were palpable and felt by all! Parents offered to construct the trikes and bring to our playground where each day, children tested their skills to practice gross motor, balance, and coordination!

Children gravitated to work with their peers on Magna Tiles structures; wooden Ramps incorporated with blocks, wooden marbles, and cars; and Rollercoaster Magnet designs to practice critical thinking and scientific exploration. Scaffold learning took place with the support and use of each material, and provided each student with a sense of achievement and excitement for learning!

We are forever grateful for the amazing materials and equipment that Donors Choose provided to us, and will continue to use them each school year for Preschool Learners!”
