    My students have been able to learn several new skills with the new resources that were provided from your generosity including measurement and and concrete finishing. We have been working with silicon molds to make small resin planters for our bonsai trees.

    When I had the students unpack the supplies when they arrived, my students were elated and were already trying to put the hydroponic tables together. They have already started lettuce seeds and are planning on growing a sustainable supply of food for our class pets.”

  • On the Cutting Edge

    My students are using our new resource to develop their skills in cutting edge fabrication. One of our favorite moments is when we were able to get the laser to successfully engrave for the first time. It was very exciting and we still are having fun learning new tricks and experimenting with materials.

    Our students were surprised when our laser machine arrived. We had to do research to correctly set our machine up and got to all experience a small amount of robotics with assembling the belt drives.

    Our next steps is designing and assembling legs to allow our laser machine to engrave on larger materials like 4 inch glass blocks, leather belts, etc. We are so grateful for this amazing opportunity to learn and grow.”
