I as well as other mental health counselors purchase incentives with our own money and we do so because we know the impact of something as small as a treat but the cost can accumulate quickly your donations are greatly appreciated!”

    Thank you for donating to my mental health for students project. I wish you could witness my student's reactions when they enter my office. They are excited and always looking forward to coming to Ms. Sanchez' office. I'm glad they are able to identify my office as a safe space on campus. Many students show up at my door when they aren't feelings well and I want you to know that you as a donor helped create a safe space on campus that students go to when they need a minute to take some deep breaths and process their emotions.

    Students not only have a safe space to process their emotions, they also have a safe space to learn new skills. I use the books funded to teach them coping skills, emotional regulation, feeling identification, communication and social skills. Once students show improvement and when they can apply the skills learned I provide slime or squishy toys as positive incentives. Thank you again for your donation.”
