Thank you so much for funding the Peninsula sensory room project! It has made such a big difference in the day to day lives of many children at Peninsula.

Students are using the sensory tools every single day to help regulate their emotions. The canoe squeeze provides great proprioceptive input, which can be calming in the same way a hug can be calming). The kinetic sand is a soothing tactile experience. The tools also provide students with new and different ways for them to move their bodies, allowing them gain a greater sense of self.
