  • Fresh New Start!

    Funded May 18, 2023

Thank you for your contributions to our classroom. I love how the new classroom decor has helped me create a calm and welcoming space for our Prek students. Other materials purchased were a class set of blankets that ensures each child has a blanket to use at rest time daily. We also have been using our dry erase markers weekly to practice letter formation and fine motor skills. Teachers could not do all that we do without the support of our community. Every item received is greatly appreciated and used by the classroom to provide the best possible experience for all students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Hamilton

  • PreK Learning Display

    Funded Dec 15, 2022

As a classroom, we appreciate every amount of help we receive. That help comes in different forms such as monetary donations, supplies or even volunteering. Donors Choose has provided a way for teachers and amazing donors like you to come together in order to serve and support our students. Once this project was funded, the supplies arrived quickly and my little learners have been enjoying these supplies by helping me to create anchor charts that show what we are learning throughout the day. The children share their thoughts and knowledge as the teachers records these responses and ideas. The children have also been creating individual theme related projects as well.

I was able to purchase a math curriculum through teacher pay teachers that aligns perfectly with our state standards and has definitely added to the engagement level of the children as we introduce these new math concepts.

Also, there were a few organization tools that have made it possible for both myself and the students to keep our classroom and new supplies neat and tidy.

Your generosity is so greatly appreciated and has had a positive impact on our learning this year. Thank you for your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Hamilton

  • Blast Off to Learning in Pre-K

    Funded Mar 2, 2022

Thank you for your contribution to my PreK classroom. Our classroom is located in a Title 1 school and our PreK program serves disadvantaged students. It is our hope that the students attending PreK in our area will be better prepared for kindergarten and the educational road beyond both academically and socially. Funding in our district, like many, is limited and supplies are a hot commodity. Preschool children learn best through play and hands on activities. The items that we received have been a blessing to our classroom and the children have loved using the art supplies to create masterpieces that are all their own. We have also done many group projects that have added to our lessons and experiences.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Hamilton
