• Computer Lab Cricut Creators

  Funded Apr 13, 2023

  The students and I would like to thank you for the donation for the cricut and all of the material that we needed. This is used for PBIS students to give them a sense of motivation. Once they have a passing conduct grade, they are allowed to come to the lab and make projects of their choice. The choices they have are small projects such as making their name to put on their laptops, binders and cups that can be completed within the last 45 minutes of the day. These small projects make the students want to try their best to behave in class.

  When the students saw the new materials, they were excited. The rules were explained to them that they must make at lease 80% of their conduct to be able to use the cricut. The cricut has made a big difference in the student behavior in their classes. The students will be making small items like decorated cups for their parents for the holidays as their next classroom project.”

• PC(Pixel Coding) Techs

  Thank you for the donations for the computer and printer, the students have been excited to use them. Having new technology allowed the students to become more resourceful and making them want to learn. It has enhanced the students' learning experiences and they are more engaged in the learning content.

  The new technology have taken our students' learning to another level. The students are wanting to come to the lab now, when they use to groan and frown upon entering the computer lab. This new technology as given the students' the uplift they needed.

  I have a few students that have especially warmed to this new technology and is always willing to spend their extra time searching the internet for more learning activities as well as playing school approved math games. The attached picture is of those who love the lab as much as I do.”

• Computer Lab Comfort

  The new desks are put together and the students are in love with them. The first time the students saw the new desks they were excited that they had individual desks to sit at. I received one desk for each computer in the computer lab which makes each student have their own desk and comfort. The desk have a hook on them for the students to hang their backback, purse or headphones. Havig these desk also makes the computer lab updated and looks really great. Thank you again for your generous donation.”

• Klean Kids!

  Funded Mar 14, 2022

  Thank you so much for your generous donations for Klean Kids. The students were excited to receive the packages of hygiene items. They participated in a group setting where we watched a power point about keeping our bodies clean. Each student received a package of hygiene products to take home.

  When the students first saw the items, some were a little confused about what to do with them but we explained what they should do with each item and they were excited to take them home and try them.

  When school begins I will be implementing this same project to the new 4th and 5th grade students again. Hopefully we can continue to educate the students at Pearl Watson Elem. about hygiene.”
